Military Training Medical Research Institute of the General Armament

The General Military Training Medical Research Institute was established in 2001 with the approval of the General Logistics Department and the Ministry of Health. In 2016, it was approved by the General Logistics Department and the Ministry of Health to build the third batch of national clinical key specialties for military construction projects. The institute has undertaken numerous special tasks assigned by the Health Bureau, including taking the lead in establishing and improving a long-term mechanism and standardized plan for the prevention and control of military training injuries, establishing a "military medical specialty (military training medicine)" for military training injuries, undertaking the Central Military Commission's Logistics Support Department expert guidance group, establishing a tiered training system for training injuries, building a pilot regional military training injury detection and intervention center, and improving and revising the diagnostic standards and prevention and treatment principles for military training injuries. It has led multidisciplinary teams to establish a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment platform system for military training injuries, establishing a complete scientific framework for military training injuries including "prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and rehabilitation," improving key technologies, standardized processes, regulations, and guidelines for each stage of training injury prevention and treatment. The institute is at the forefront of the military in terms of comprehensive strategy research and practical application of technology for the prevention and control of military training injuries.
